Collagen Vaccine (Linerase)

What is collagen?

Collagen is a protein molecule that plays an important role in the structure and elasticity of the skin. Type 1 and 3 collagen is most commonly found in our skin.

What is collagen vaccine and what is it used for?

Collagen loss in our skin starts from the age of 25. In addition to age, genetic factors, smoking and sun damage also accelerate this process. This is the point where collagen vaccine comes into play, which we have been using the most lately. Collagen vaccine is an anti-aging application that we make by diluting collagen type 1 in powder form with saline and injecting it a few millimeters under the skin.

Collagen vaccine is most commonly used for;

  • Elimination of wrinkles and sagging due to loss of elasticity in the face, neck and décolleté area,
  • Treatment of pitted scars on the skin due to acne,
  • Reduction of stretch marks in the abdominal area,
  • Removal wrinkles on the upper hand.

How does the treatment with collagen vaccine proceed?

With collagen vaccine, the treatment sessions may vary depending on the clinical condition and the age of the patient. The average number of sessions is 2-4 sessions 14 days apart. To maintain efficacy, it is beneficial to perform annual preventive treatments.
